Comeback dressing is a Mississippi favorite, and rightfully so, since the recipe originated at the Rotisserie, a Greek restaurant that was in Jackson, Mississippi. The Rotisserie was before my time, but many southern restaurants have a little bowl of this dressing on the table with a basket of captain’s wafers, perfect for a little pre dinner snack. There’s usually a jar in our fridge at any given time. Many claim to have the very best recipe, but I like mine the best. Give it a try and let me know what you think.
