Yocona River Steak Sauce
Ingredients:
1 cup red wine
1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
1/2 of 1/3 cup (1/6th) molasses
1/3 cup Worcestershire sauce
1 stick of butter
Directions:
In a medium saucepan, combine the red wine, vinegar, molasses and Worcestershire sauce. To reduce the sauce, slowly bring to a boil while stirring constantly. As soon as mixture begins to boil, remove from heat and let the steam escape. Return to heat and continue process for about 30 minutes. The mixture should be thick and coat the back of a spoon. Just before serving, add a stick of butter to sauce. Best to serve under your steak when plating.
