I absolutely hate to waste food. I really do. When it comes to a ham, it’s hard to put it all to good use before it goes bad. With my last ham, I used this recipe and froze the balls for later. There’s nothing better on a lazy Saturday or Sunday morning than to have something ready in the freezer to pop in the oven. My family loved these! I served them for brunch alongside some garlic ranch dressing. They would be great with honey mustard, too.
Ham Balls
Ingredients:
16 ounces chopped ham, about 2 cups
1 cup cheddar cheese
1 package cream cheese, softened
1 cup Bisquick baking mix
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a large mixing bowl, combine Ingredients using your hands. Cover your baking pan with parchment paper. About a table spoon at a time, roll the ham mixture into bite size balls and place on the baking sheet. Bake about 20 minutes until golden brown. Remove from oven and cool a bit before serving.
